Overcast with some "white outs" at the higher elevations.
Seemed wonderful for May. There was fresh snow on all of the slopes. Visibility was rather flat.
This was a real bonus. Invited to speak at a conference in Denver, I found out almost be accident that A-Basin was still open. It was a long drive from the airport quite late at night up I-70 to Dillon but it was well worth while.
After starting with some relatively easy cruises from the mid mountain, I graduated to the two lifts at the top of the mountain and the more challenging runs form there (still only blue though).
Grooming was not very good and lighting was flat so I had my share of tumbles including one pretty spectacular summersault onto the back of my neck.
